Job Responsibilities: The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina is accepting applications for a Career Education Coordinator in the Career Center. This role will have the responsibility of the following: - Serves as a comprehensive career coaching/counseling and advising resource, primarily for students and as needed for alumni. - Provides career planning, preparation, and job search strategies through both group and individual programming methods. - Coordinates career education programs and presentations for the department and in conjunction with other Citadel offices. - Serves as an interdisciplinary course instructor for campus-wide collaborative efforts. - Develops and implements new programs and presentations for continuous improvement of services provided. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree area and at least (2) two years of experience in higher education and/or counseling, recruiting, training, or teaching. Excellent instructional, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills essential. Proven ability to effectively present to large and small groups.
