Role Profile Position: 3rd or 4th Class Steam Engineer Job Location: Collingwood, Ontario: Operating Business: LGG Industrial, LP - Goodall Job Type: Full-Time: Status: Non-Exempt: Summary of the Role: This role is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of automated or computerized control systems and auxiliary equipment such as boilers, pumps, compressors, etc. and assisting the facility to meet production targets by maintaining high standards of preventative maintenance and timely repair of production machinery. A significant portion of this role requires production machinery maintenance. This position reports to the facility Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities: - Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures - Operate automated or computerized control systems, and auxiliary equipment such as boilers, pumps, compressors, pollution control devices and other equipment for the building, industrial plants. - Start up and shut down power plant equipment, control switching operations, regulate boiler chemical levels; operate process autoclaves. - Preventative maintenance and trouble shooting on compressors. - Monitor and inspect plant equipment, switches...
