Job description
International Programs Assistant Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume): Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher) earned by June 2026. One [1] year of full-time experience working with students in an academic setting (Related student work experience may be considered). Highly proficient professional experience in word processing, spreadsheet management, electronic messaging and internet applications. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Higher Education, International Education, Student Affairs, or a related discipline. Direct experience administering study abroad programs, including exchange, faculty-led, and third-party programs. Professional experience in study abroad, international education, or a closely related field. Familiarity with SUNY policies, academic requirements, and international travel procedures. Experience with Terra Dotta or a comparable study abroad management system. Knowledge of student travel risk management, health and safety protocols, and international partner coordination.
