About the Role: The Local Justice Worker (LJW) delivers the Local Justice Worker Program (LYJWP) in the Southern and Bayside Metropolitan region, supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults who are involved in, or at risk of ongoing contact with, the justice system. The role provides culturally safe, strengths-based, and trauma-informed case management to support participants to comply with Community Corrections Orders, resolve fines and warrants, understand justice system obligations, and reconnect with culture, community, and supports.
