Riggs Washington DC sits on the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter’s 9th and F Street in a historic building once home to Riggs National Bank. Each of the Hotel’s 181 guest rooms offers a playful nod to the building’s legacy. Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Café Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan – a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: This position requires the following knowledge, skills and abilities Pay Range: Salary $100 - 120K - Direct and administer all safety and security operations and functions - Create, implements and standardizes the processes, procedures and develops and implements hotel safety and security procedures and programs consistent with DC and hotel standards - Maintain positive working relationships with leadership team, and all departments of the hotel - Ensures that proper supervisory oversight is in place and monitors security activities to provide protection for guests and team members - Create and manages the budget and monitors expenditures and overtime to keep spending with budget targets - Conduct annual security risk a...
