Maintenance Mechanic III

Job description

Position Summary Possesses proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Maintains and services mechanical equipment, machinery, and components and performs skilled repairs of mechanical, electrical, building systems and equipment when necessary. Conducts periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair. Identifies parts needed for replacement and places orders as necessary. Completes all work in accordance with established safety procedures. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Perform preventive maintenance duties and make repairs and modifications to production equipment in line with cGMP. Respond in a timely manner to demand maintenance calls, troubleshoot existing systems and installations. Assist with maintaining detailed maintenance records and parts inventory through the effective use of company CMMS.
