Catholic Social Services is currently recruiting for a contract, part-time summer job for (35 hours per week) in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. The length of the contract will be 8 weeks. This position is dependent upon government funding. Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 30 and must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada. Job Summary: As a Recreational Coordinator, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a recreation program to children and adults with disabilities. You will be supporting caregiver support groups for families impacted by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assist adults with developmental disabilities with their day to day needs - Promote Agency at community events.ie. kids activities / FASD Awareness Day - Attend staff meetings and participate in staff development training - Work as part of the Agency team - Administrative duties, such as filing, copying, scanning, shredding, supplies, special projects - Participate on activities and tasks in various locations (required to travel) What This Job Requires: - High school education completed - Currently enrolled or complet...
