Position Summary: The Facility Technician (Beacon Builder) supports the safe, efficient, and compliant renovation and maintenance of company-operated homes. This role ensures all work aligns with organizational policies and procedures, Joint Commission standards, Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) requirements, HCBS guidelines, and contractual obligations with Community Mental Health Agencies and other regulatory bodies. The Technician is expected to model the organization’s ICARE Core Values—Integrity, Compassion, Advocacy, Respect, and Excellence—in all daily duties, interactions, and work performed. Key responsibilities include executing renovation tasks, maintaining accessibility and safety features for individuals with disabilities, and ensuring all vendors and individuals performing work in Beacon facilities are properly vetted and meet company and regulatory standards.
