About the KIPP Colorado Director of Teacher Development Role: The Director of Teacher Development role exists to ensure that every classroom has an effective teacher. The Director of Teacher Development will ensure that we are able to prioritize strong teacher development systems, intervene in classrooms of concern, and support long-term teacher development structures including professional development and practice clinics. The Director of Teacher Development will design, align, and oversee high-impact professional learning systems that build instructional leadership capacity, improve teacher practice, and ensure consistent implementation of network-wide academic priorities. This role will work directly and in collaboration with content-experts on the Academics Team to ensure that professional development is coherent for both priority content areas as well as our focus on data-drive instruction. This full-time position is a part of our Home Office Team and is a key member of KIPP Colorado’s leadership team.
