Job Description Packaging Machine Operator - Forsyth, MO SUMMARY: To set up, operate and tear down bottling and packaging machines in the packaging department and to ensure all product passes inspection before being sent to the customer. There will be opportunities for cross-training in the Blending Department, Tableting Department, and the Encapsulation Department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of this position at any time. Consistent attendance is critical to the successful performance of this role. Essential duties include, but are not limited to, the following: - Assemble, set up, operate independently and tear down/ disassemble all equipment involved in the departmental process for a total of up to twenty or more different pieces of equipment. - Conduct visual inspection of packaged product to detect and remove defective products. - Conduct visual inspection of overall bottle and remove defective products prior to packaging. - Ensure cleaning and general maintenance of all departmental equipment and packaging areas. - Responsible for documentation of batch/lot numbers, dates and various other data. - Ens...
