About the role: Join our team in shaping the narrative of the 2026 midterms, and paving the path for 2028. Reporting to the National Press Secretary, the Temporary Regional Press Secretary will own earned media strategy and execution across key battleground districts and states through the midterm elections. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven communicator who understands that regional press shapes national outcomes. The Temporary Regional Press Secretary will build and maintain strong relationships with local reporters, proactively pitch stories tied to Indivisible’s priority campaigns, and elevate the voices of grassroots leaders in must-win districts. They will work closely with the turf and campaigns teams to ensure our organizing efforts break through in local newspapers, radio, digital outlets, and broadcast media. This is a temporary position focused on scaling regional media impact in advance of the 2026 midterms, particularly in key states and districts. The salary for this position is $91,150 annualized.
