Classification Title: Chief, Division of Pediatric Nephrology Job Description: The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida is seeking candidates to join an active and collegial group to serve as Division Chief of Pediatric Nephrology. The division provides inpatient services at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, ranked #1 Children’s Hospital in Florida in the 2022-2023 U.S. News & World Report. Our pediatric nephrology program provides services to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with all forms of acute and chronic congenital and acquired kidney diseases. Our team offers expertise in the care of young children with renal failure and patients with complex renal abnormalities who require dialysis and transplantation. These include infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of bladder and kidney problems, patients with hypertension and electrolyte abnormalities, and the assessment of pregnant women carrying a fetus with a renal abnormality noted on ultrasound.
