Job DetailsJob Location: Brooklyn, NY 11238Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeSalary Range: $19.72 - $19.72 HourlyGENERAL DESCRIPTION: Performs all duties related to the direct care and treatment of residents. Maintains the safety and security of residents, staff and facility. Provides guidance and support to residents. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: Provide direct supervision and be accountable for whereabouts of residents at all times Manage resident behavior: Accurately report resident’s adjustment and behavior to case manger, supervisor, shift leader and director, as well as other CCW’s Maintain the daily schedule of resident activities Provide safe transportation of residents, as approved by DYFJ Report all unsafe conditions and incidents immediately to the Supervisor and Director Ensure necessary steps are taken in the event of an incident Conduct group and individual counseling with residents Complete searches, including body and property Properly and legibly document all activity, as well as any all concerns, in logbooks Identify and report any unusual occurrences that may effect the general atmosphere of the program Engage residents in recreational, e...
