Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team in Rockville, MD. This role supports the accounting department with day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and assisting with core accounting functions in a collaborative environment. Job duties include but are not limited to: - Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions - Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and general ledger balances - Review and resolve discrepancies in invoices, payments, and account balances - Maintain accurate records of assets, liabilities, and supporting schedules - Assist with internal and external audit documentation requests - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards - Provide general support to the accounting team as needed Qualifications: - High school diploma or eq...
