Perform an audit in reviewing ALL Rose Hills and Outside Mortuary cases in detail to ensure compliancy with company policy & state and federal regulations. As a Compliance Checker, this position is responsible for ensuring that Funeral and Cemetery arrangement details are finalized with a high level of accuracy before final disposition occurs. Essential Job Functions: Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations. - Ensure compliancy with state and federal laws and established company rules and regulations, by ensuring that documentation and HMIS system to support the disposition of remains is complete, accurate, and archived - Be proactive and timely while auditing cases and withhold a 48-72 hour platform - Stay updated on changes with company rules and regulations, State and Federal regulations while participating in training and skills development opportunities - Communicate inaccuracies, omissions in a professional and timely manner with vigilant follow up to provide a satisfactory resolution - Carefully review required consent and authorization forms for accuracy...
