Description JOB SUMMARY: The Research Scientist will report to the Director of The Centre for Clinical Epidemiology & Evaluation (C2E2), a centre within the Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute. C2E2 undertakes research and training and provides evidence-based advice to advance a sustainable health system for British Columbians. The Centre provides expert consultation and project support for Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), other health authorities, governments and non-profit health care agencies in the areas of biostatistics, health economics, health technology assessment, evidence synthesis, qualitative and mixed-methods research, policy analysis and patient-oriented outcomes.The Research Scientist will work collaboratively with VCH staff and physicians, and VCH Research Institute scientists, providing qualitative methods expertise and leadership on research projects, as well as leading, developing and informing patient engagement activities within the Centre.
