By providing nutrition education to residents, their families and staff, ensuring that quality nutritional services are provided and maintained daily in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility. Primary Responsibilities: Interviews patients for the purpose of gathering information consistent with their food preferences and nutritional status. Records information on appropriate forms. Visits assigned patients as requested to ascertain acceptance and tolerance of nutritional therapy. Assist patients in completion of their menu by advising them of appropriate selections based on nutrition prescriptions.
