Position Title GBC Med Surg CNA PRN Varies - PRN: Great Bend Hospital: Position Summary / Career Interest: The Patient Care Assistant - GB is an unlicensed staff member who is accountable to and completes delegated tasks from the RN in a caring and culturally sensitive manner, with excellent customer service at all times. Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions: - Collects initial and on-going data as delegated in regards to the health status of the patient based on chart documentation. - Follows an individualized plan of care that promotes positive immediate and long-term outcomes for the patient/family and reflects the plan of the entire health care team. - Carries out interventions safely and in compliance with policy to facilitate achievement of expected outcomes as delegated. - Accurately documents patient response to intervention /therapy based upon expected outcomes. - Carries out delegated patient care activities and communicates with other members of the healthcare team as evidenced by positive patient outcomes. - Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department. - These statements are intended to desc...
