Position Summary... To assist in the leadership of the Food areas and department processes through partnership with the Food Assistant Manager and ensure a high level of customer service and while ensuring task completion. What you'll do... 1 Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate. 2 Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Food Assistant Manager and the Store Management Team. 3 Assesses the overall presentation of Food Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executes merchandising display changes where required. 4 Delegate, assist and follow up on completion of daily Customer Availability Process tasks. 5 Support with scheduling as needed. 6 Assign Associates to support with coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store. 7 Participates in the training and development of the Food Associates , and provides feedback as needed. 8 Contributes to a...
