Job Summary The Pharmacy Technician Lead supports daily pharmacy operations by overseeing the work of pharmacy technicians, ensuring accurate medication preparation and dispensing, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This role collaborates closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality pharmaceutical care. The Lead serves as a key resource for training, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement within the department. Essential Functions: - Leads and coordinates the daily activities of pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with policies, procedures, and quality standards. - Assists pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing, including sterile and non-sterile compounding and unit dose packaging. - Monitors inventory levels; orders, receives, and restocks medications and supplies in accordance with hospital protocols and storage requirements. - Trains and mentors pharmacy technicians, conducts competency assessments, and supports onboarding of new team members. - Ensures appropriate documentation of medication preparation, inventory transactions, and regulatory compli...
