Position: Optical Hardware Lab Technician Student Number of Position(s): 1 Duration: 4 Months Start Date: September 8, 2026 Location: Onsite - Ottawa, Canada Educational Recommendations: Currently a 2nd-year candidate for a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Network, Technologist, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada. Help keep lab spaces clean, organized, and compliant with safety and operational standards. Assist with equipment moves, rack installations, and new station setups as part of lab reconfigurations and expansions. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Strong troubleshooting skills, basic IP knowledge.
