Job description

 Under general supervision, performs duties in connection with ordering, receiving, inspecting, recording, storing, and issuing new, returned, and reclaimed materials, tools, supplies, and equipment in designated areas. Salvages and reclaims material and supplies. Operates material handling equipment and vehicles; loads, unloads and handles materials and supplies and delivers to designated locations and picks up materials as required. Performs all work in a safe manner. Complies with all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures. Performs all work that they are qualified and trained to do in a manner to protect themselves, their fellow employees and the public from injury. - Maintains good housekeeping practices in all storage areas of the warehouse and outside storage areas. - Unloads materials from various freight trucks using mobile material handling equipment and proper material storage devices, such as racks, pallets, baskets or carts, for proper protection of materials and to facilitate handling and storage of items. - Receives materials requiring interpretation of freight bills and delivery receipts to ensure correct delivery addresses, receipt of correct materia...
