Virtual School Education Placement Officer Permanent: Grade C - £35,412 - £41,771 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week: Birmingham Virtual School is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Education Placement Officer to work alongside our families, young people ,social care and other local authorities supporting children in care to secure appropriate and timely education provision /school placements. This is a outward-facing role, responsible for securing in year school admission applications and timely submission at normal admission round application. You will be developing and managing key relationships to secure a good or better education placement. We are looking for someone who has experience of: Working in schools, other education provisions or a local authority with knowledge of admissions procedures and knowledge of DfE guidance on school admissions code requirements.
