Job description

The Department Supervisor 2 is responsible for ensuring all safety, warehouse, and department standards are met by directing and training associates within their department. P erform all administrative duties including reviews, coaching, and daily workload planning. This is an hourly position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Plans and directs associates for task completion. - Trains new associates on job tasks and job knowledge in the department. - Assists associates in completing their job tasks. - Leads pre-shift meetings under the direction of management. - Organizes department safety stretches routine. - Completes the same tasks as associates in their department. - Prepares reviews under the direction of management. - Administers coaching and disciplinary action to associates under the direction of management. - Plans and prepares the department for daily goals to be achieved. - Identifies and solves basic issues and problems. - Operates powered equipment as needed. - Adheres to safety standards and practices. - Adheres to company policies and procedures. - Performs other duties as assigned.
