About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 14 Job Title Head of Detection Engineering Role Summary: S&P Global is looking for a talented individual with a deep understanding of the security operations and engineering space. The head of Detection Engineering will lead the strategy, development, and implementation of security monitoring, detection and automation logic. This role includes deploying state-of-the art AI capabilities and managing integrations and alerting across multiple industry standard tools. The head of Detection Engineering will report to the head of Cyber Defense and be responsible for the SIEM and SOAR platforms, related automation and integrations, and additional key risk functions within the CISO organization. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute the security engineering strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned to business goals and risk tolerance. - Interface with technology teams across multiple business divisions, along with the Cloud and Infrastructure teams to accommodate new projects and released. - Take up existing projects and roadmaps with a focus on delivering industry best-practices across the space. - Manage a team of Security Engineers glo...
