Job Title: Welding Technician II Department: Manufacturing: Reports To: Welding Lead Job Summary: The Welding Technician II is responsible for welding and fabricating manufactured products according to blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications. This role requires expertise in various welding techniques, precision, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: - Welding & Fabrication: Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel, to manufacture custom HVAC components. - Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure precise welding and fabrication. - Metal Preparation: Cut, grind, and prepare metal surfaces before welding to ensure strong, clean welds. - Quality Control: Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet company and industry standards, making adjustments as needed. - Equipment Maintenance: Maintain welding machines, tools, and other equipment to ensure proper operation and longevity. - Safety Compliance: Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures, including wearing proper PPE and maintaining a clean and organized work...
