Job Summary: Reporting to the Supervisor of Utilities, this position supports the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of campus HVAC and mechanical systems through routine inspection, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and equipment repair. Working under supervision, the role maintains building mechanical systems, monitors performance, and identifies deficiencies or needed repairs. This position includes a structured, four-year training program designed to develop the knowledge and technical skills required to achieve HVAC Journeyman status. This includes a combination of hands-on experience and formal vocational training to build proficiency across mechanical, electrical, and automated building systems.
