Department Overview The Registered Nurse in the Center for Women’s Health is a member of a multi-disciplinary team and has the primary responsibility for and provides direct and indirect professional nursing care for patients at both our Marquam Hill and Hillsboro Medical Center campuses. This includes representing the practice both in person and on the telephone, other OHSU departments, and non OHSU facilities. This resource position will work on our fetal monitoring unit covering both our unit at Physician’s Pavilion and at Hillsboro Medical Center. The Registered Nurse assesses patient and family needs, develops a plan of care, implements and evaluates the care delivered. The Registered Nurse is expected to practice in accordance with professional standards, core values, and with a commitment to service excellence. Function/Duties of Position: - Ability to lift, bend, stoop, reach, carry, push, pull and walk throughout the work period. - Able to lift 50 lbs independently.
