Terms of Employment: 12-month Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Salary Scale: AFSCME UA, Grade 14-15 https://www.ccboe.com/careers/salary-scales Salary Range: $52,333 to $92,914, determined by years of relevant experience. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: - High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or (4) year trade school education required. - Minimum (8) years’ work experience installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment required. - Holds EPA section 608 universal certification required. - A Maryland Class C license is required. - Holds and maintains a valid Maryland State HVACR Journeyman license or Master's preferred. QUALIFICATIONS: - A thorough knowledge of the HVAC and refrigeration trades, equivalent to the completion of a four-year apprenticeship program. - Working knowledge of heating plants and other mechanical systems, including electrical components and controls. - Ability to exercise good judgment in the performance of work and working safely. - Performs work required for the repair, maintenance, installation, and modernization of HVAC and refrigeration systems. - Ability to drive commercial-type service vehicles, trucks, and...
