Shipping Supervisor ( Job Number: 340592 ) Description Lycoming Engines seeks a Supervisor to lead a dynamic team of employees in our warehouse operations. This person will be a leader and change agent capable of driving relentless improvement, motivating team members and holding them accountable for safety, quality, delivery and cost. Responsibilities Include: · Responsible for hiring, coaching, training, developing, directing, counseling and disciplining bargaining unit personnel in a fair and consistent manner · Develop and improve operations towards best in class standards including but not limited to receiving, shipping, inventory control, talent, processes and facilities · Supervise bargained personnel to insure efficient manpower utilization and assist with planning · Proactively participate in cross-functional efforts and teams to support Lycoming Premier initiatives · Administer the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and collaborate with union leaders in the resolution of shop issues · Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies Qualifications: · Leadership experience · Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills · Demonstrate ab...
