Job Purpose: Oversee purchasing activities involving raw materials, component parts and supplies. Maintains files of material/supplies purchased for follow-up checks on delivery. Maintains communications with suppliers and internal departments regarding status of products ordered. Process purchase orders, investigate new suppliers and research prices. Role - Typical Duties: - Research and maintain stock requirements. - Place orders for requested parts. - Maintain positive vendor relationships and promotes relationship.
