Grand Canyon University is seeking academic peer tutors to support our mission through the Academic Centers for Excellence. Peer tutors assist students in understanding course concepts and developing effective study strategies. Purpose within the Organization: Academic peer tutors help fellow students by providing one on one and small group academic support in designated course work. This position promotes student success by fostering a collaborative learning environment aligned with the University’s mission of academic excellence and servant leadership. Training is provided in peer tutoring best practices. Peer tutors work in-person on the Phoenix main campus and may provide virtual and in person support to students. The Academic Centers for Excellence are open Monday through Thursday 10AM-8PM and Sunday 10AM-8PM.
