Description PARTS SHIPPING AND RECEIVING Reports To: Parts Manager Summary: The Parts Shipping and Receiving position is responsible for the day-to-day shipping and receiving duties, including freight company relations and warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities: - Receive shipment, confirm shipment is accurate. - Distribute received shipment to warehouse or appropriate Department. - Receipt invoice for Inventory purposes. - Pick, stock and restock inventory. - Shipment of all packages via UPS, Fed EX and all other applicable methods. - Ensure quality control procedures are followed. - Assist in housekeeping duties including recycling materials, collecting & disposing of trash. - Assist in inventory functions including cycle counts, physical inventories, and warehouse organization. - Interact with freight companies to provide the best freight solutions for the business. - Process applicable paperwork including freight bills, packing slips, and bill of ladings.
