About the unit Unit 4AB The Inpatient Rehabilitation Center is a 42-bed unit at Blodgett Hospital. Team members enjoy working on the IRC unit as you are able to become an expert in so many areas since we care for a wide variety of diagnosis. Some of the patients we care for are stroke, lung and heart transplant, bone marrow transplant patients as well as ortho trauma, limb loss, brain injury and more. We often get to form great relationships with our patients and see them progress in a positive way. We have a very team-oriented floor and environment, which includes strong relationships as an interdisciplinary team. Also, we get the opportunity to care for every patient population within Corewell Health, thus a diverse learning experience.
