Accounts Receivable Accountant II

Job description

TSC is seeking a detail oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Biller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Deltek and a strong understanding of project-based billing, government contracting requirements, and project closeout processes. This role is responsible for accurate invoices, maintaining billing schedules, ensuring compliance with contract terms, and supporting full lifecycle project accounting through closeout. This role can be performed on a remote basis. Responsibilities to Include: - Prepare, review, and submit accurate and timely customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and billing requirements - Manage billing activities within Deltek Costpoint - Review contract documents to ensure billing compliance with federal, state, and commercial guidelines - Perform detailed analysis of project costs, labor, expenses, and revenue recognition - Monitor unbilled receivables and follow up on outstanding invoices as needed - Coordinate with Project Managers and Project Controls to validate billing data and resolve discrepancies - Support and lead project closeout activities, including: final invoice preparation and su...
