Position Overview: General ledger accounting professional to manage accounting duties and day-to-day accounts receivable, revenue and cash functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: - Treasury functions which include but not limited to: - Prepare ad hoc bank transactions, customer payments/deposits, bank transfers, etc. based on bank statement information for each account - Review lockbox exceptions before bank deadline - Deposit checks - Initiate wires after proper approvals are received - Overseeing meetings and events revenues and expenses. This includes but not limited to: - Contract review, including initial signing and event order forms - Billing and invoicing the event customers - Ongoing communications with both internal events team and customers - Daily and month-end duties such as revenue recognition, depositing payments and subsequent application to account and expense and/or fee accruals - Review of aged balances and co...
