Account Manager, Content Acquisitions (Kanopy)

Job description

This position will require you to be in the Greater Cleveland, OH Area We are presently in a hybrid schedule, 2 days on campus and 3 days WFH Kanopy is the premium online video-streaming platform servicing public libraries and academic institutions globally. On a mission to ensure that everyone has access to enriching films that bridge cultural boundaries, spark discussion, and expand worldviews, the Content Acquisitions team aims to license films and tv that fuel lifelong learning. The Account Manager's responsibilities include developing and managing relationships with a variety of video content partners, including studios, distributors, aggregators, and individual producers. The position will primarily be focused on content acquisition for Kanopy Kids as well as offerings in the K-12 educational space. This includes developing new accounts, delivering a target number of new accounts and/or business objective conclusions, maintaining contact with assigned accounts to ensure content flow, and contributing to business model development.
