Open Rank Instructor to Professor in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center is seeking a part-time non-tenure Open Rank Instructor to Professor in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) to serve as academic physician for the new PMR program. EDUCATION: MD or DO. Must have completed a residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. LICENSES: Must be licensed or license eligible in the State of Tennessee. Must be board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). - Provide inpatient psychiatry care and consultations. - Provide outpatient follow-up. - Work with APPs and trainees (medical students, residents, fellows, visiting students, and other allied health professionals) and facilitate interprofessional team care. - Lead a team of medical professionals, which may include physical therapists and occupational therapists, in order to optimize patient care. - Conduct or participate in research on injuries, diseases, and disabling conditions to improve and advance treatments. - Liaise with community organizations to facilitate program building and awareness of physiatry services. - Actively participate in the building and execution of the inaugural residency program...
