Leidos is seeking a Construction/Civil Engineer to join the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team supporting the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Headquarters in Washington D.C. This is a virtual position and the candidate may live anywhere within the United States. Telework is 100% with business travel estimated to be 25% - 35% of the time. Primary Responsibilities: - Prepare summary trip reports within two working days of trip completion. - Perform on-site surveys to develop designs and detailed reports. - Prepare construction drawings and prepare site-specific specifications and contract documents and independent cost estimates. - Review contractor design and construction submittals. - Provide timely responses for requests for information and project related submittals. - Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet milestones and deadlines working directly with stakeholders and contractors. - Compile and complete pro...
