BILH Pharmacy Home Infusion Nurse - Field Based RN full-time or per diem North or South of Boston The Registered Nurse creates & develops patient care plans to direct the safe and appropriate administration of medication in the home or alternate site setting. Working with Home Infusion staff the Registered Nurse helps identify patients capable of successful self-administration, educates patients & caregivers on proper administration techniques & methods, coordinates discharge activities, administers or supervises administration of medication, provides IV site dressing care and phlebotomy services as ordered. Job Description: Primary Responsibilities: 1. Practices in accordance with the state and federal laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing, Department of Public Health, the Food and Drug Administration, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the United States Pharmacopeia. 2.
