Security Team Specialist I 260003CH Description Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children (PRHC) operated by the Department of Public Health is seeking a dynamic Security Team Specialist to maintain protection of buildings, grounds, equipment, patients, students and personnel in a state hospital against possible loss of damage from theft, fire, vandalism, civil disorder or other causes. This position may provide emergency coverage in various classifications including patrolling campus buildings and adjacent areas, investigating crimes or other incidents and other related duties. Please note: This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Workdays are Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am. Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive): - Patrols assigned campus buildings and adjacent areas on foot or in a patrol vehicle to ensure the security of the buildings or grounds. - Guards against trespass, theft, damage to property, or injury to individuals by screening visitors, controlling crowds; providing personal protection as required; conducting surveillance of high crime areas; searching for missing goods and persons; investigating...
