Qualifications: Education, Licensure and Certifications, Related Work Experience: Other specialized skills and knowledge necessary to perform this job. (e.g., basic accounting principles, computer skills and software, specific healthcare processes, interpersonal, communication: - Respond appropriately to a high volume of incoming calls, remaining professional and courteous - Verify and update patient information during each interaction; enter accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. - Provide accurate information regarding services, insurance, office policies and procedures to clients/customers - Triage calls and messages and route to the appropriate department or team member - Other related duties as assigned. - High School Diploma or equivalent - Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a medical office or healthcare call center - Proficient in computer application skills, including EHR/EMR, and utilization of common office equipment - Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills - Efficient at multi-tasking, and ability to remain calm under pressure. - Knowledge of patient privacy regulations and ability to maintain confidential information
