About the Team The Commerce Platform team builds products that help merchants grow, operate, and monetize their business with DoorDash. Our portfolio spans 0→1 bets, early-stage products, and rapidly scaling offerings, which means our work sits at the intersection of product innovation, commercialization, and long-term platform strategy. The team’s analytics and data science work helps define the right metrics, guide product and go-to-market investments, and turn new product ideas into durable business outcomes. About the Role: We’re looking for a Director of Data Science to lead a broad and high-impact portfolio supporting Commerce Platform. In this role, you will shape how we measure success, guide product and commercial strategy, and build the data foundations that help teams move quickly and make better decisions across products at different stages of maturity. Success in this role means building a high-performing team, raising the quality and speed of decision-making, and helping DoorDash identify and scale the highest-ROI opportunities across the portfolio.
