Electrical Engineering Early Development Team Leader- North America

Job description

This position will lead a Team of Engineers and Technicians to design, package, and release, per wire harness specifications to meet program timing. The teams will include Wiring, CAD Design & Packaging, Wiring Debug, IPC Gateway, High Voltage Wiring, I-Speed involving weekly program updates – status, timing, risks. This process includes: - Understanding the program changes. - Assigning the mule team members to the project. - Understanding which new modules/software/harnesses are required. - Establishing the CAD group for packaging design. - System Group (IPC) to develop software to operate new modules to surrogate vehicle. - Conduct regular review meetings. - Attend the prototype build engineering meetings. - Review system changes and vehicle adaptation to incorporate modules/harnesses into mule vehicle/architecture. - Develop integration modules to bridge surrogate vehicle, (build from) to new program mule vehicle (build to). - Populate "I-speed" database to define module interfaces. - Work with the suppliers to explain program changes and define delivery timing. - Support Mule builds and t riage Mule build issues. - Regular updates on Mule build status to EHE team. - Escalate an...
