Summary: The Parts Counterperson sells, at retail, parts to all available customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone. Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist customers in selecting parts, suggest companion items, and promote full product line exposure. - Manage stock by pulling purchases, determining availability, and submitting emergency orders. - Handle phone inquiries, providing price quotes and assisting outside sales representatives. - Set up orders for shipment, delivery, or pick up on a daily basis. - Verify and manage "will call" and "back order" files, returning items not needed or stocking those required. - Support service technicians in selecting parts for ongoing repairs. - Open repair order envelopes for new orders and order necessary parts not in stock. - Notify the Shop Forem...
