KOVR CBS13 in Sacramento is looking for an outstanding, proven leader and performer to head our weather department. Top candidates must have superior forecasting and storytelling skills. A knowledge of Northern California microclimates is a plus. Must have expert knowledge of The Weather Company system tools to develop, produce, and deliver high-quality weather forecasts on-air, on digital, social, and our CBS News Sacramento OTT stream. Will be required to report and produce weather reports live on location. Ability to shoot and edit video is preferred. Must have experience with sustained live coverage of severe weather.
