Description The Department of Educational Psychology in the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education at the University of Oklahoma (OU) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Special Education. The University of Oklahoma was established in 1890 and is the flagship public research university in the state of Oklahoma (Carnegie Classification R1: highest research activity), with 34,000 students and more than 2,700 full-time faculty members offering nearly 500 different graduate and undergraduate degree programs on three campuses (Norman, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa). The Department of Educational Psychology is housed within the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education. The department includes four program areas: (a) Professional Counseling, (b) Learning Experience Design and Technology, (c) Science of Psychology, Data, and Research in Education, and (d) Special Education.
