Department Physical Facilities, Grounds Compensation: $15.00 to Negotiable Hourly General Description / Primary Purpose: This is work performing grounds maintenance and landscape installation duties including but not restricted to maintenance of turf, landscape, and irrigation; litter control; and set up for special events. Specific duties will be determined by the supervisor. Job Function: Mowing Weed eating, edging asphalt and cement surfaces Plant bed maintenance: Equipment/shop maintenance: Landscape construction: Special projects/events: Participate in special event set ups and other work Assist with campus maintenance emergencies: Assist with new utilities installation and maintenance of existing utilities Manages work orders: Raking leaves: Prescribed burning. This position is designated as a Tier 2 respondent for designated campus emergencies and events. In the event of a declared campus emergency, the position incumbent will make every effort to return to campus when directed. Supervision Received: Close supervision.
