Description The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Washington invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 2026. The successful candidate will be expected to pursue excellence in research, teaching, and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. The successful candidate will join our faculty on a full-time basis for a twelve-month academic appointment beginning July 2026. The base salary range for this position will be $11,667 - $20,834 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. The successful candidate will be expected to expand and strengthen our foundational and translational research capacity in radiation oncology, with a focus on advancing mechanistic understanding of radiation response, particularly in the tumor microenvironment, hypoxia, redox biology, and emerging modalities such as FLASH radiotherapy.
