Job Title: Supt, Fossil Outage Work Place Flexibility: Onsite: Legal Entity: Entergy Services, LLC: JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Responsible for the development of long range project, schedule, and budget details to execute planned outages and/or large scale capital projects. Manages the condition based outage process, outage stage gate process, and plant modification process for assigned projects. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Oversees long range detailed planning and execution of fossil unit outages through utilization of the outage stage gate process - Manages cost, schedule, and safety processes for outage scopes of work - Interfaces with plant management personnel to develop and drive resolution to key issues impacting project/outage - Coaches project managers as necessary to deliver on safety, financial, and schedule goals - Understands, negotiates, and influences contract language for vendors/contractors to protect Entergy's best interest - Assure direct reports and contract partners comply with plant safety policies and procedures MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum education required of the position Minimum experience required of the position Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities req...
